The golf regulations have still unchanged, but the way to hit the ball to the right target probably modifies. In other words, people do not have to estimate the distance between their stand and the ball holes. Thanks to the newest technology, they will kick the ball as quickly as they can. I am talking about the GPS golf course map. Yeah, it is easy to buy a device in the shop, but how to read GPS golf course maps is a challenge question. This is the main point I am going to show you right away… How to recognize the right holes to hit in the golf course in the past Do you want to know how golfers locate the proper holes to kick their balls in the course? When you know how they do it, you will understand how to relocate the GPS golf course maps. I am serious! In the past, several golfers who needed to discover the range of a specific hit had lots of things to tackle and the ruling as well. One took the first steps in the direction of creating the distance between their standing to others in yards in the middle of the 20th century. Players had to hold their recordings in their head. It means that they must have a good memory. Later, golfers changed a little bit on their job. They would write down all records all the distances of the golf course from their break. They also observed other players to note everything in the course carefully. By doing this, they probably knew which parts they should follow and which things they should…forget! One day, they realized that they do not have enough time to note all records in all golf courses from countries to the world. They are…

Avid golfers are mostly looking for their new drive shaft by searching a lot of reviews in forums, asking a variety of questions and trying to figure out their demand in many options to choose the best graphite shafts for irons. Although eight of shafts which go into irons, at least, are in golfers’ bag with one drive, they still ignore them. A lot of golfers keep their shafts from the last time these shafts were fit when the golfers were gaming. Or else, they also can use whatever comes as stock. There is a huge number of golfers getting involved in this situation. Therefore, we did this research and comparison to figure out which iron shafts are the best ones for golfers by running certain data. With our results, you can ask yourself about the shafts which are suitable. If you use a non-suitable shaft, your score can fall down. It is annoying that you have up to 10 shafts but they do not match any of your swings. At the beginning of this research, it came up in my mind that the shafts which were certain could separate themselves into different groups. The reason was that I did not expect that there were the shafts which could be on top in many aspects. Therefore, I had my own above hypothesis. For instance, the shaft which is longest can have the least consistency. During the test 4 golfers who are low-handicap were asked to take shots with just 4 iron and PW with shafts which are stiff-flex and use Mizuno JPX-825 Pro iron heads. Slight mishits as well as easily obvious missed shots were included in the test as they are in the real game. We measured the performance of the shaft by how it managed the misses. The…

If you are playing golf as a casual outdoor activity or a sport, you will not miss out the Golf GPS. If this is the first time you hear about the golf GPS or you have no idea about this product, I cannot imagine what years or centuries you were living! Seriously, the golf GPS plays a key role on your green course no matter how many times you play this game. It will rescue a lot on your track that you cannot notice at all. And here are a few tips about using the golf GPS which I recommend you should not…ignore! #1 – Study your distance precisely If you have time to have a small talk with other golfers, you probably ask them the distance they can hit the ball into the main hole. Do not surprise that most players will not know it! This is a hurt truth because you and others do not identify the right number. Even if experienced golfers are not sure about their shooting. This is the first reason for producing the golf GPS devices. Thanks to the golf GPS with a real function for practicing, you enable to know how far you hit the golf ball from your certain club.   #2 – Make the right target in the green course Most players often have the mistake of aiming the right hole in the green course. This is not rare situations, but even if the holes are close to your stand and the cup, all golfers cannot avoid these mistakes. With the golf GPS, it will help you provide the information about several different parts of the green course. And the center of the green course should be aiming. When you do not follow the winding path or other possible happens, you…

When you hear this question, you will know that it comes from new golfers. Yes, most novices often ask themselves because they are not confident at all. If you were them, then you could take time to find the question how far should I hit my irons and practice it. Identify the certain golf clubs first In order to hit your irons, you should recognize the kinds of a golf club in advance. There are 3 main categories that you may come across. Woods The woods are known as robust clubs to hit long shots in the course. These made from lots of par fours with fives a wood is used for the tee to control the ball in the fairway. With the wood club can take the ball furthest, it is the driver and people often call it one wood. Most golfers have to face the lowest loft of the golf club. In fact, the lofted club is the main factor to decide how far it will shoot the golf ball. Most golfers can get their driver between 230 and 290 yards while gurus can upgrade to 300 yards. With women players, they usually hit to 230 yards on their amazing drive, but others can hit under 200 yards (about 170 yards) only. Moreover, the three-wood players and the 5-wood ones often have more loft points, but they will not hit the ball more than the driver up to 240 yards in the distance (it is less performance than men). Irons This is the main idea I would like to show you, but you surely need to understand the iron clubs. In general, men players often take their irons for hitting which is less than 200 yards from the green course. The irons are often counted from 1 to…

Christine Jacobs says it is Northern California's cool and breezy climate that makes Pebble Beach her favorite place to play in the spring. The CEO of the Theragenics Corp., a $50 million company that manufactures and distributes a device used to treat prostate cancer, golfs mostly in the Atlanta area, which is where her company is based. "But the South can be really hot and sticky, even in the spring," says the 21-handicapper, who took up the game when she graduated from college in 1971 and only recently began teeing it up again on a regular basis. "So I like to go to Pebble Beach because you often have some wind there and need to wear a sweater. I adore playing golf when I don't feel like I am in an oven. (more…)

ONE could be called "The Ty Tryon Rule" and the other should be referred to as "The Charles Howell III Initiative," but the PGA Tour Policy Board voted last week at its meeting during the Bell Canadian Open in Ile Bizard, Quebec, to set the minimum age for the tour at 18 and to increase the number of sponsor exemptions a player may accept in a year from seven to 12. Final action on these measures will be taken at a meeting in November. According to one source at the meeting, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the board gave preliminary approval to an age limit of 18 for membership on the PGA or Buy.com tours "in an effort to ensure that individuals earning memberships are physically and mentally mature enough to handle the rigors of the tour." The board also determined that in order to enter the PGA Tour Qualifying School, a player must turn 18 prior to the last official money event of the following season. Tryon, who turned 17 this summer and will make his professional debut this week at the Tampa Bay Classic, and Kevin Na, who turns 18 Sept. 15, pushed the issue to the front burner by announcing recently they would forgo the rest of their high school golf eligibility to become professionals. The issue also came up on the LPGA when Aree and Naree Song Wongluekiet played in the Nabisco Championship when they were 14. The LPGA has a minimum membership age of 18. According to the source at the meeting, it was decided that if an individual under 18 should otherwise qualify for an exemption, he would be entitled to the remainder of the exemption and would be permitted to become a member upon turning 18. When asked if the rule change--there previously…
